Most agency work has an end date. The website launches, the SEO project wraps up, and the retainer has to keep proving its worth every month.
An AI chatbot is a service you run and bill for every month. It answers product questions at any hour, captures leads, and passes qualified bookings to the client’s team. That’s easier to justify on a monthly invoice than a website you finished last spring.
The catch is branding. If the chatbot carries someone else’s name, your clients can see what you’re reselling and look up what it costs. A white-label platform runs on your own domain, carries your agency’s logo, gives each client a separate login, and meets the data compliance standards larger clients ask about.
Before the list, a disclosure: Robofy and Growby are made by the same company, Sprouto InfoSolutions. Robofy is our product, so read the ranking with that in mind. To make us easier to check, every claim about a competitor links to that vendor’s own pricing, security or documentation page. We checked all prices and plan details on October 26, 2026.
How we tested
Before we built the AI agent features in Growby, we set up accounts on Chatbase, Stammer, Botsonic, Tidio and Intercom and compared them with Robofy. We have not run FastBots or Voiceflow in a client project. Those two reviews are based on their published pricing and documentation.

Criteria for 2026-2027
These five checks are how we compared the platforms for 2026 and 2027. Prices and plan limits come from each vendor’s own site, read on October 26, 2026. Open those pages again before you quote a client in 2027.
- Separate client workspaces. Your dashboard should let you create a workspace for each client. Clients see their own analytics and conversation logs, never another client’s, and never the software running underneath.
- Your domain and logo everywhere. The chat widget, the client portal and the notification emails should all use your domain (for example,
ai.youragency.com) and your logo, with no mention of the vendor. Removing a “Powered by” badge from the widget is a smaller thing, and several vendors sell only that. - Security you can verify. If you serve healthcare, legal, financial or European clients, ask for the ISO 27001 certificate or the SOC 2 report, not just a badge on the homepage. Check where the data is hosted and whether client data is used to train AI models.
- Human handoff that works. A bot can clear most routine questions, but sales leads and complaints need a person. The platform should pass those conversations to WhatsApp, Slack or email without dropping them.
- Pricing you can predict. Look for flat wholesale pricing or credit bundles, so you know your cost per client before you quote a retail price.
The 7 platforms reviewed
1. Robofy.ai: best overall for marketing agencies (our product)
Robofy is built for agencies that want to sell AI chatbots and AI agents under their own brand without writing code. Every reseller plan includes the white-label panel, and every paid plan lets you run it on your own CNAME subdomain.
The entry plan, Accelerator, costs $799 a year and covers 10 client licenses, 10 AI agents and 1 million AI credits a month, which Robofy estimates at about 16,000 text replies. Enterprise costs $1,199 a year with unlimited client licenses. The reseller pricing page lists every plan.
Sprouto InfoSolutions, the company behind Robofy, holds ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification. EU accounts are hosted in Ireland, customer data isn’t used to train AI models, and a DPA is available to sign in the Robofy Trust Center.
The widget runs on the Vercel AI SDK. It learns from website sitemaps, PDFs, Notion docs and help centers, and its answers include citations you can check. When a visitor needs a person, the human handoff sends the live chat to WhatsApp, Slack or email.
Robofy gives agencies a white-label dashboard to build, brand, and sell AI chatbots to clients under their own domain.
Your Brand & Domain
CNAME custom domain and your agency's branding. Clients never see Robofy.
Data Security
ISO 27001 certified and GDPR compliant, with EU data hosted in Ireland.
Live Human Handoff
Alerts your client's sales team over WhatsApp, Slack, or email.
Where it falls short: plans are billed yearly only, so you pay up front before you’ve signed most of your clients. AI credits are shared across all your clients, so one busy client draws down the allowance for everyone. If you need deep branching conversation logic, Voiceflow handles that better.
2. Chatbase: polished for one business, awkward for ten
Chatbase was one of the first tools for training ChatGPT on your own PDFs and URLs, and it’s still one of the easiest to set up. Its security is a strength: Chatbase publishes a SOC 2 Type II report and GDPR compliance, with HIPAA support on Enterprise.
The problems for agencies are in the pricing. Self-serve plans run from $40 to $500 a month, and removing the “Powered by Chatbase” badge is a separate $99 a month (pricing). Custom domains are available only on Enterprise. Chatbase doesn’t document a client sub-account portal, so a client can’t manage their own bot without access to your account.
- Pros: Quick setup; published SOC 2 Type II report; strong API and Zapier integrations.
- Cons: No documented multi-client portal; branding removal adds $99/mo; custom domains need an Enterprise contract.
Chatbase suits a business running its own support bot. For an agency with ten clients, the add-ons and the missing client portal add up fast.
3. Stammer.ai: agency-first, with a security gap
Stammer.ai was built for agencies. Its Pro White Label plan costs $99 a month and includes 5 chat agents, 5 voice agents, your own domain, logo and colors, and integrations with GoHighLevel. Extra agents cost $10 a month each. The $49 Standard plan has no white-labeling (pricing). Pro also includes a one-on-one onboarding call and daily office hours, which is useful if you’re new to selling AI.
Security is where Stammer is weaker. Its privacy policy says data is processed in the United States on DigitalOcean, whose data centers are SOC 2 audited. We couldn’t find a SOC 2 report or ISO 27001 certificate for Stammer itself. If you sell to European or regulated clients, ask Stammer for its security documents before you commit.
Choose Stammer if your agency already runs on GoHighLevel and your clients don’t ask for security certifications.
4. Botsonic (Writesonic): fine for one bot, not built for resale
Botsonic is Writesonic’s chatbot. The Starter plan costs $19 a month for one bot and 1,000 messages, and removing Botsonic branding from the widget is a $49 monthly add-on (pricing). Botsonic states it is SOC 2 and GDPR compliant.
Its pricing page lists no reseller program, client sub-accounts or custom domain portal, so you’d manage every client inside your own account.
5. Tidio (Lyro AI): recommend it, don’t resell it
Tidio is a long-running live chat tool for Shopify and WooCommerce stores, and its AI agent, Lyro, handles support questions and order tracking. Lyro costs $39 a month for 50 AI conversations on monthly billing, and any chat where Lyro replies at least once counts as a conversation (Lyro pricing details). Tidio publishes a SOC 2 Type II report.
Tidio has no white-label reseller program. Its agency partner program pays a revenue share for referred clients, who sign up with Tidio directly and see Tidio’s branding.
6. FastBots.ai: cheap single bots, pricier white-label
FastBots trains chatbots on documents and website links. Its Essential plan costs $39 a month for 2 chatbots, which makes it a cheap way to put one bot on a small business website.
Full white-labeling costs more. The Reseller plan is $399 a month and includes 30 chatbots, 30,000 message credits, a branded client portal, client logins and your own domain (white-label details). Lower plans can remove the widget badge but don’t include the portal.
On security, FastBots says its own data handling is GDPR compliant and its storage partners are SOC 2 compliant. For its own certifications, its FAQ tells buyers to ask the team directly.
- Pros: Low entry price for single bots; branded client portal on the Reseller plan; many channels, including WhatsApp and Telegram.
- Cons: White-labeling requires the $399/mo plan; no security certification of its own published.
7. Voiceflow: strongest for complex logic, white-label scope unclear
Voiceflow is a platform for designing and testing conversational AI agents on a visual canvas, with conditional logic, API calls and state management. Its security paperwork is strong: Voiceflow publishes a SOC 2 Type II report and states it is ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified.
Its pricing page now lists an option for agencies with multi-client workspace management and “white-labeling and client handoff tools”. Voiceflow doesn’t publish what that white-labeling covers or what it costs, and its documentation describes workspaces as team boundaries rather than branded client portals. Billing is a plan fee plus usage credits, and extra editor seats cost $50 a month.
Voiceflow is the right pick for a technical agency building custom agents with complex logic. Ask Voiceflow’s sales team what the white-labeling includes before you plan to resell it.
What each platform costs per client
These are list prices for each vendor’s white-label tier, divided by the clients or bots it includes. AI usage is billed differently on each platform and isn’t included.
| Platform and plan | List price | Includes | Cost per client / month |
|---|---|---|---|
| Robofy Accelerator | $799/year | 10 client licenses | About $6.66 |
| FastBots Reseller | $399/month | 30 chatbots | About $13.30 |
| Stammer Pro White Label | $99/month | 5 chat agents | About $19.80 |
| Chatbase Hobby plus branding removal | $139/month | 1 agent, no custom domain | $139 |
How to package and price the service
You bill a white-label chatbot monthly, the same way SaaS is billed. Here’s one way to structure the packages. Treat the figures as starting points and check them against your own software, AI usage and support costs.
Example pricing packages
| Service tier | Client monthly fee | What the agency provides | Target margin |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic support bot | $149 to $249/mo | Website FAQ training, monthly content update, lead notifications | 70% to 80% |
| Lead qualification bot | $299 to $499/mo | Support bot plus custom CRM lead capture fields and Slack or WhatsApp alerts | 75% to 85% |
| Connected agent | $599 to $999/mo | Full qualification plus live appointment booking and calendar integration | 80%+ |
Setup fees
On top of the monthly fee, charge a one-time setup fee of $500 to $1,500 per client. It covers:
- Crawling the client’s website, cleaning up outdated FAQs and uploading PDF documentation.
- Connecting your agency’s custom domain and styling the widget to match the client’s brand colors.
- Testing fallback responses and setting up the human handoff routes.
- Training the client’s staff and testing the CRM connection.
Frequently asked questions
What does “white-label AI chatbot” mean?
A white-label AI chatbot is software built by one company that another business, usually a marketing agency, rebrands and sells as its own. The agency adds its logo, domain and pricing. The software provider runs the hosting, AI models and infrastructure in the background.
Can my clients log in and see their own chatbot data?
On some platforms. Robofy, Stammer’s Pro plan and FastBots’ Reseller plan all document client logins under your brand. Clients can read conversation histories and check captured leads without seeing other clients or the vendor’s name. Chatbase, Botsonic and Tidio don’t document a branded client portal.
Which white-label chatbot platforms are ISO 27001 certified?
Of the seven platforms here, Robofy and Voiceflow publish ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification. Chatbase and Tidio publish SOC 2 Type II reports, and Botsonic states SOC 2 compliance. Stammer and FastBots point to their hosting providers’ certifications.
What happens when the AI chatbot doesn’t know an answer?
A well-configured platform scores how confident it is in each answer. When the answer isn’t in the trained documents, the bot should hand off instead of guessing. It alerts your client’s team over WhatsApp, Slack or email with the customer’s question and contact details.
Do I need coding skills to launch an agency chatbot service?
No. White-label platforms like Robofy are no-code. You enter the client’s website URL, upload their PDFs, paste the embed script into their site (or tag manager), and the assistant is live.
How to launch your agency AI service
- Pick a platform whose security you can verify. Enterprise clients often ask for an ISO 27001 certificate or SOC 2 report before they sign.
- Start with one pilot client. Choose an existing client who gets the same support questions every week and test the conversations with them.
- Set up your custom domain. Connect your CNAME in Robofy so clients see your brand from day one.
